Welcome to Preschool!

Saint Andrew’s Preschool is open to all children on a non-discriminatory basis; admitting all children of preschool age without regard to race, religious affiliation, national origin, or ancestry.

 Our ministry will assist preschool-age children in developing spiritually, physically, socially, emotionally and creatively through self-discipline, a good self image, and valuing human life as shown in God’s love. We will strive to provide an environment that will prepare preschool-age children for future years of learning in elementary school.

Program Offerings

3 & 4 year old class
 In this class children will develop their social skills, cognitive ability, and level of independence. Learning is acquired through hands-on experiences. Concepts of literacy, math, science, and art are brought together using literature, music, experiments, cooking, and crafts. We help students identify themselves as learners through fostering a sense of curiosity and a desire to explore the world around them. Teachers help children make meaningful connections to the world around them so that learning is not compartmentalized.

 One Head Teacher and one Assistant Teacher with a maximum class size of 10 children.  Offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 8:45 to 11:30 am, September through May.


4 & 5 year old class
 In this class we delve further into the world of learning as we work to develop school readiness skills. Children engage in learning center activities that broaden their ability to stay on task, problem solve, stretch cognitive ability, and introduce new concepts. Literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts are taught in a theme-based format. We work diligently to build confidence so that each child will be a risk-taker in his/her learning. Understanding the way young children learn best, we use play and hands-on experiences to make learning meaningful and fun.

 One Head Teacher and one Assistant teacher with a maximum class size of 12 children. Offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:45 to 11:30 am as well as Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12:15 to 3:00 pm, September through May.

Registration

To register your child, please obtain a registration form from the parish office. After completing the form, return it to the parish office with the registration fee.

Please remember to keep your child’s personal information on file up to date during the school year (ie: address, phone numbers, authorized people to pick up your child, medical information.)

 Registration will take place beginning March 1, of each year for currently enrolled children for the following year. Siblings are also allowed to register during this time. Beginning on April 1 of each year, registration will then be open to the public. First-come, first-served. Class sizes are limited to 10 and 12 children, respectively for the 3 & 4 and 4 & 5 year old classes.
 

Fees & Tuition

• $60.00 non-refundable registration fee due with the application.
• $135.00 monthly tuition for 3 & 4 year old class.
• $170.00 monthly tuition for 4 & 5 year old class (morning or afternoon).

Tuition is due monthly on the first day of class for that month. Please visit the parish office if you need to make other arrangements. The preschool is self-supporting, and relies on tuition being paid on time to support the expenses and staff of the preschool.

 We accept cash and check for payment. Sorry, we are unable to process debit/credit cards at this time. For your convenience, we also accept automatic bill payments from your bank or online payments through our Vanco website. Please make notation of child’s name in the memo field and let the parish office know to expect these monthly payments.
 

Preschool Calendar

St. Andrew’s Preschool will have classes during the months of September through May. If we have any last minute changes, you will be notified in advance. Please see our handbook for more details.
